ALIGNING DECISION-MAKING TO SOCIAL GOALS in Pro Mujer (Bolivia)
Pro Mujer Bolivia has developed an effective approach to ensuring that decision-making balances both its social and financial priorities. Strategic and operational planning starts at the branch level using Annual Operative Plans, which are consolidated at the organisational level to determine overall strategy. Based on these, decision-making at all levels reflects the degree to which the action: 1) supports the social mission, 2) supports institutional sustainability, and 3) generates value to clients and their families. In this way, PMB seeks to balance its social and financial performance.
