Micro Enterprise Programs Discussion List


MICROENTERPRISE provides micro enterprise professionals the opportunity to discuss programs such as: loan program management, business / technical assistance programs, funding availability, federal / state / local policy issues, micro business incubators, international micro enterprise development, conference announcements, job postings, and general assistance referral questions. This list is of particular interest to CDC ( community development corporations ) and similar organizations.

" ... The intent of the list is to keep micro-enterprise development practitioners appraised of industry developments and to be a source of provide professional development.

We expect the uses will go far beyond policy issues to include best practices, announcements of meeting and training dates, job postings in the field, etc, etc.

We decided to create a separate list from the excellent and informative community development banking mailing list because we felt, as practitioners, we needed this forum for the professionals in the micro field ... "

You can then retrive these files with a "GET MICROENTERPRISE LOGxxxx" command, or using LISTSERV's database search facilities. Send an "INFO DATABASE" command for more information on the latter.
