Information Management at the Café

Considering that this is a "Café" for NGOs, a light hearted CUP or MUG debate was undertaken:

This clearly had implications for information management and the packing/value-addition of information for the NGO Café as a whole! In reality, the following 'multi'-formula has been useful in guiding the Café:

  • Multi-media: the use of different means and technologies
  • Multi-level: local, regional, national and international
  • Multi-purpose: use of information, queries, offers/requests
  • Multi-activity: formal and informal interaction/activity
  • Multi-dimension: one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-one, and many-to-many
