United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development UN DESD

In 2002, the United Nations General Assembly adopted Resolution 57/254 to designate the decade 2005-2015 as the 'United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development' (UN-DESD).

GDRC, the Global Development Research Center, endorses and supports global initiatives to activate the decade of 2005 - 2015 as the 'UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development'.

These pages have been set up to keep GDRC visitors updated on the UN-DESD initiative, and the various activities currently underway during the Decade.
