Flows and links between issues can be concentric, as shown in Case 1, where the central issue A, in concentric circles, is linked to B,C, and D. This is a good way to illustrate the cumulative and consolidated impact of a core 'starte' issue that lies in the center. The outer edge will therefore represent the 'now' as things stand.
Case 2 is an interesting example that further illustrates this by showing not only concentric links, but also quarters where, for example, A is not only linked to B, but for 25% is also proximate to C! Similarly, B is linked to C but also to D.
